I have started using "Google Analytics" to see what the visitors to this page do. It looks like most of them never clicked on the links that were in the "Things to see", now this could be because the things were boring, or it could be because they coudn't tell it was a link or not. I decided to just put every image on the first page. Bam! Also I added a virtual pdf book to the Read page. In my personal life today Rachel made me the best sandwich I have ever eaten. No joke. It was toasted homemade bread with butter and garlic, cheddar cheese, basil, mayo, real roast beef. I'm writing this down because one day I will be sad and feel like nothing can fix anything. When that day comes I should like to make this sandwich again. It had body, flavor, it was a gift to eat. Add Comment Better late then never. For Halloween I went as Wikipedia. I paper mache'd an exercise ball, then painted it. The logo Wikipedia uses only shows 12 symbols, so I had to figure out what to put on the other 20 puzzle pieces. This is actually a well covered area in Wikipedia. The symbols are suppose to be the letter W in other languages. The debate is that these symbols should not be the letter W, but the first letter of "wiki" in the respected language. So if in Zanzibar they call a Wiki a Zani, their letter Z should be displayed. It goes on and on like this so I used their suggestions for languages that were not included on the front and copied them. Somebody asked me, "Arn't you worried that you're going to go out and everyone's going to start asking you hard questions?" Somebody else replied, "If he doesn't know the answer, he can just make them up." I attempted to upload a photo of the costume to Wikipedia's Halloween Costume entry, but they rejected it, claiming it was derivative art. Well yeah. But they refused to allow it. It's like a child dressing up as his father, then when dad get's home he says, "Why are you wearing that ridiculous get-up? Go to your room and take that off." But it ain't no thing, 'pedia I still love you. |
