Today I start the series called "Childhood Dreams". It is my believe that our role as adults is to leverage the power and money age gives you to advocate for the dreams you had as a child. My first dream, "Visit Antartica"

Background
As a elementary school student I developed an affection towards Antartica which grew into the dream to visit, and maybe live there. Looking back upon those days I believe that there were two reasons.

In grade school, Antartica seemed to be a forgotten land. When asked to receite the 7 continents, my fellow grade schoolers would most often fail to remember Antartica, and when the teacher corrected them, they frequently shrugged it off - It's only Antartica, It's not like anyone lives there. "But I will", I hoped.
The second reason I wished Antartica was a part of my life was it's spacial ambiguity. It always seemed to change size and shape depending upon what map you were looking at. This was, and still is, magical.

Yesterday Josie, Jillian and I drove down to the Cities 97 radio station to record a commercial we wrote for the Music Lab. We were given a warm welcoming and a tour of the studios by the friendly marketing specialist Cara. Everyone at the studio was very positive, especially Cara and the producer Adam.

The background music in the commercial is called "Cordoba" off of the Brian Just Band's soon to be released album "If You Like To Be Alone or If You Need To Be With Someone".
