This week in "What I use Photoshop For" we are treated to an eclectic collection of images found recently on Lueders desktop. From boosting the colors under the sea, to an in progress midnight rock album cover, this week's got you covered. With such hits as "how to keep a pasta salad cold outdoors", "The boot leather method of stopping a speeding bicycle" and "how to fix the video chat eye contact problem with cheap sunglasses" they will have your whole family enthralled.

The other night Brian, Rachel, Josie and I were listening to records and watching cartoons on the television with the sound off. I made this video to capture that experience. The song is "Jesus Johanna" by Matt Latterell

Mitochondria tell humans and plants what to do, Captcha systems are computers telling us what to do, All human endeavors are really just a way to ignore our future death, robots will be our future bodies not our rulers.

To better understand these events, we'll talk with Professor Susan Sharaden, who is studying mitochondria; as well as  Sloppy P, who's latest rap is about his existentialist breakthrough. Finally, for a perspective from a Robot herself, we'll also have Olivia the Robo Poet on our show. More details after the Break.

Oops, I married a millionaire.
You can imagine our feeling of satisfaction when Francis Tibbles walked into the Gay 90's and bought a whiskey old-fashioned. Francis Tibbles is, after all, one of history's most original and prolific thinkers. As an adventurer, neo-futurist philosopher, philanthropist, and educator, he has spent over two decades finding simple, near-drug-free ways of expanding our consciousness.

What's more, he knows a good deal about bars, taverns, dram shops, and the best music to create an invigorating night life. Which brings us back to the subject of gay bars. Famously, In 2005 Francis broke the silence and brought bisexuality to everyones breakfast table when during an interview with the Queen he said, "Some people swear by a certain brand of cars, 'I'll never drive a Volkswagen.' They might say, 'I'm a Ford man'. But to me it's just a car. I don't care if It's a man or a woman, a Toyota or a Peugot." Sound familiar?

This weeks episode may be one of the most divisive, musically intense shows yet. Featuring an interview with Minneapolis' Matt Latterell as he talks about his favorite smells, describes his recurring nightmare, and verbally assaults the Brian Just Band. Details after the break.          Subscribe on iTunes

UPDATE
Francis was upset with how this episode turned out and kept us here all night reediting and remastering it. We added 2 more songs, and remixed some of the longer ones. I think he wants to turn us into Radio Lab sometimes.

Friends, enemies, frenemies and eneriends, whatever you call them they are a vital part of who you are. This week on The Francis Tibbles Show we tackle the tricky topic of friendship.

On stage Jakob Dylan will stop by and discuss his new solo work since leaving The Wallflowers, and give us his 3 rules of music. We'll ask him what it's like to inherit your father's fake last name.

Keeping to the theme of friendship: Jeff Jeffers reviews  the biggest romantic comedies, including My Best Friends Wedding. Das Freakout goes circus sideshow to share a love poem between band mates. Precious Vines comes to Tibbles defense and Olivia describes the cost of being the boss. Details after the break.

AP: Tibbles showed support in Fresno.
This week on The Francis Tibbles Show we are in Kansas City, Missouri rumpusing around with Nisha, Olivia's naughty robot twin, as we tackle the controversial issue of Bed Sharing.

The Robo Twins stopped by to tell us about their latest charitable work and perform a cover of an electro/industrial Sheep On Drugs song.

We hear the soothing tunes of computer programer and video game designer behind orisinal.com Ferry Halim. Precious Vines and Jeff Jeffers will be joining us on stage. In the second act Scott Flaskerud of Starfighter Jones, formerly Dear Sweet Villians, stops by and sings us to Texas; while the Tibble's Art Corner team fixes us a bouquet of Schwarzenegger's latest bed sharing oopsy daisies. Details after the break.

Where are our egg timers? "I don't know!"
Around the studio, we are still on an emotional high from last week; we have not come down yet. I want to thank Sloppy P and Diane Rhea for last week, for giving us an excellent show. They were absolutely sensational.

The show tonight is our farewell to winter show; it's going to be a little bit quieter. It's not going to be a performance show. One of the questions people have been asking me, especially this last month, is, "What's it like doing 'The Francis Tibbles Show,' and what does it mean to me?" Well, let me try to explain it. If I could magically, somehow, that audio you just heard, make it run backwards. I would like to do the whole thing over again. It's been a hell of a lot of fun. As an entertainer, it has been the great experience of my life. More details after the break.
