Background
As a elementary school student I developed an affection towards Antartica which grew into the dream to visit, and maybe live there. Looking back upon those days I believe that there were two reasons.
In grade school, Antartica seemed to be a forgotten land. When asked to receite the 7 continents, my fellow grade schoolers would most often fail to remember Antartica, and when the teacher corrected them, they frequently shrugged it off - It's only Antartica, It's not like anyone lives there. "But I will", I hoped.
The second reason I wished Antartica was a part of my life was it's spacial ambiguity. It always seemed to change size and shape depending upon what map you were looking at. This was, and still is, magical.
