Mitochondria tell humans and plants what to do, Captcha systems are computers telling us what to do, All human endeavors are really just a way to ignore our future death, robots will be our future bodies not our rulers. To better understand these events, we'll talk with Professor Susan Sharaden, who is studying mitochondria; as well as Sloppy P, who's latest rap is about his existentialist breakthrough. Finally, for a perspective from a Robot herself, we'll also have Olivia the Robo Poet on our show. More details after the Break. Subscribe on iTunes for Free. LISTEN: ![]() Oops, I married a millionaire. You can imagine our feeling of satisfaction when Francis Tibbles walked into the Gay 90's and bought a whiskey old-fashioned. Francis Tibbles is, after all, one of history's most original and prolific thinkers. As an adventurer, neo-futurist philosopher, philanthropist, and educator, he has spent over two decades finding simple, near-drug-free ways of expanding our consciousness. What's more, he knows a good deal about bars, taverns, dram shops, and the best music to create an invigorating night life. Which brings us back to the subject of gay bars. Famously, In 2005 Francis broke the silence and brought bisexuality to everyones breakfast table when during an interview with the Queen he said, "Some people swear by a certain brand of cars, 'I'll never drive a Volkswagen.' They might say, 'I'm a Ford man'. But to me it's just a car. I don't care if It's a man or a woman, a Toyota or a Peugot." Sound familiar? This weeks episode may be one of the most divisive, musically intense shows yet. Featuring an interview with Minneapolis' Matt Latterell as he talks about his favorite smells, describes his recurring nightmare, and verbally assaults the Brian Just Band. Details after the break. Subscribe on iTunes UPDATE Francis was upset with how this episode turned out and kept us here all night reediting and remastering it. We added 2 more songs, and remixed some of the longer ones. I think he wants to turn us into Radio Lab sometimes. LISTEN: I have a poster of Target Field in Minneapolis Minnesota for sale! It's wall poster sized (18x24) woo hoo. $19.99 Buy Me! ![]() Where are our egg timers? "I don't know!" Around the studio, we are still on an emotional high from last week; we have not come down yet. I want to thank Sloppy P and Diane Rhea for last week, for giving us an excellent show. They were absolutely sensational. The show tonight is our farewell to winter show; it's going to be a little bit quieter. It's not going to be a performance show. One of the questions people have been asking me, especially this last month, is, "What's it like doing 'The Francis Tibbles Show,' and what does it mean to me?" Well, let me try to explain it. If I could magically, somehow, that audio you just heard, make it run backwards. I would like to do the whole thing over again. It's been a hell of a lot of fun. As an entertainer, it has been the great experience of my life. More details after the break.
