Yesterday Josie, Jillian and I drove down to the Cities 97 radio station to record a commercial we wrote for the Music Lab. We were given a warm welcoming and a tour of the studios by the friendly marketing specialist Cara. Everyone at the studio was very positive, especially Cara and the producer Adam.

The background music in the commercial is called "Cordoba" off of the Brian Just Band's soon to be released album "If You Like To Be Alone or If You Need To Be With Someone".

You have a very soothing voice.

Also- do you play a musical instrument? Hm?

I play the singing saw and harmonica occasionally, but not well. I make most of the music on the Francis Tibbles Show with Brian Just. I do the vocals for Das Freakout and AM@Night. I played the bass in highschool, but again not well. I've yet to bond with an instrument.

Your question is what the friendly folks at the radio station asked me several times, if I played an instrument. Maybe it's because I sounded so convincing in the commercial? eh? :-P Because the answer is simply "not really".

Your voice make me want to spend money. I have no need to play an instrument but I want lessons.
