For the last year I've been curating new worlds at REM5 Virtual Reality Laboratory and as an actor at The Haunted Basement.

I am the creator and co-host of the meetup series UX Whiteboard Challenge with designers Anna Haug and Andy Kreuger.

I co-host and edit two discussion podcasts How Much Can You Chug, Foo?! with musician Brian Just and Highway To Heaven Revisited alongside my wife Rachel Mayer and video editor Sam Heyn.

​I've won a TCSW award for my work on the artificial intelligence app I Know When You're Going To Die with software engineer Hogan McDonald.

​Oh, and I was a heavy machinery mechanic in the Minnesota Army National Guard, that's a fun fact.
