My host decided that websites shouldn't have more than one row of links across the top, so they implemented this annoying "more" rollover feature for your extra links, that you can't turn off. So I'm in the process of redesigning it.

I've started making posters for Brian Just's shows. Here are a few of them.
The poems for 2008 are up. This set is called, "Once I was an Arrow and Things Happened for a Reason, Now I'm here". http://www.joellueders.com/once-i-was-an-arrow-and-things-happened-for-a-reason-now-im-here When I wrote the piece about being arrested at Critical Mass I avoided inserting my personal opinions into it as I may have still had to go to trial. Today I rewrote it, with my opinions, and added pictures and video. www.joellueders.com/arrested So I have an office job downtown. Wow, I know, right? From time to time it get slow. I tried playing solitare and minesweeper, but yeah. So over the last 8 months I've been playing around with Microsoft Paint®, kicking it old school. Trying to see what I can do with it. For someone use to Photoshop and Illustrator it was a lot of fun and frustration. These are some of the keepers posted this evening. PS, @ work we don't have the internet and the computers wont accept flash drives or burn cd. It took longer to figure out how to get the images, than to make all of them. but it's worth a look still. This Christmas Rachel and I will be releasing another book of poems to our friends and family, yeah thanks for ruining the surprise lueders. anyway it will be called Funny Stories About Thirst And Drowning. Many of the poems are about breaking up and being sad for a little bit and then getting over it. It took me like two years to write these poems. So I thank the ladies and boys who made it all possible. Rachel is going to illustrate them, if she doesn't cut herself with the linocutting tools first. oh no! Joel Lueders I am proud to announce the birth of joellueders.com. He entered the world on Friday, November 09th, 2007, at 9:15 a.m. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 1 oz, and was 20 inches long. It was a painless birth, despite being long overdue. |
